(it should mean that the meters will accept up until 12 hours worth. it's probably an oversight, but technically you can park in that spot at 6am, and put in enough money to last you until the end of the day.)
maybe. but the sign is in the west suburbs on basically a side street. I don't even know if there are meters there! I'll check tomorrow morning.
Update-some of these spaces are metered and others are not. Very strange.
