Quick Recovery

The run wasn't too quick...but this post will be. The run was good, just a nice easy 5 miles. I don't remember the splits offhand but we averaged a 9:45 pace. Maybe a bit quick, but I am so worried about all the work I have to do I wanted to get into the lab as soon as possible. ASAP you might say.

I am frantic to get my talk for the conference next week done AND get all of the runs this week done by Friday AND get packed and ready to go AND get my cats babysitters all set up AND get the apartment cleaned AND the laundry done. Sigh.

My practice talk is tomorrow afternoon after which I am hoping things will calm down slightly before we go. Tomorrow we also have a 10 mile run planned, then 5 miles Thursday and 17 miles on Friday....breathe breathe breathe....it will all get done!

Happy Running everyone!

Chill girl. I think I'm going to start hyperventilating just reading about it. It'll get done.

Good luck with the talk.

These comments are making me laugh! This is how she really truly is! It's like her dorm room in undergrad was a huge pressure cooker...DING you're done! :)

She always does terrific, even when she is absolutely completely positive that she is going to fail & have to clean up roadkill for a living.

YOU'LL DO GREAT LEAH & JASON!!!

thanks bridgette :-) I'll know tomorrow after my practice talk how much more work I have to do. Hopefully it'll be ok and I can move on to getting ready for the trip. However after you give the talks they go through your slides one by one and tell you everything that is wrong with them...which you know is super fun. :-)

I'm sure you'll manage just fine! Because if you can't do it, what hope do I have in getting all of my runs in this week???
