No it's not too far - that's just a marathon distance!
Btw, good job on the tempo run. Incidentally, I did the exact same distance on Monday, 12 miles with 7 at tempo. I had exactly the same trepidations as you.
I found your site via Bob's site and though I'm late had to comment on the Trance. I tried them, ran a 1/2 marathon in them and my legs ached like never before for the next couple of weeks. At first I thought maybe it was the hilly route, but NO it was the shoes...Way too heavy - over correcting perhaps - but they sucked.

I know no one who has trained for this better than the two of you.
You're gonna do terrific!
i am pretty confident in our training....BUT....look at how flippin' far that is.....ok, just look at each mile on its own :-)
Leah - once you get to about the 23 mark...you'll notice an odd odor...this should entice you to get that second wind and focus on the finish line.
Oh...that odd odor is Sox Park
Tisk Tisk to negative thoughts.
Wow - that IS really far! :o) You will do great - I'm sure of it!
You will do it!! I had the same feelings in Phoenix. You CAN do it!!
No prob... we won't even need to think about the distance until about mile 23, then we just gut it out...
