We're BACK!!!

Well after a long fun 3 days in London we are back in the good old US. I have lots to write about our time in England. I didn't get a chance to upload any other pictures after Lancaster because they were all on my laptop and although we found cheap internet from time to time, we didn't find any wifi to connect the laptop....and hence the pictures.

I am going to be working on all that today. Including 3 more posts about our 3 days in london and then a full website dedicated to the trip with lots of pictures.

So stay tuned today....I'll make up for the lack of posting with lots today!

Welcome back. You mentioned a notebook in your post. Hmmn. As you may have read in my blog recently, I've been having all kinds of trouble ordering a notebook from Dell. I finally gave up and bought a Toshiba from Staples. Well, it turned out to be defective and I'm going to return it. So, I'm just curious, what brand is your notebook and are you happy with it?

joe-

i'm a mac girl. and i have an old powerbook. I LOVE IT!!! I have had it now for over 3 years. Have had no problems with it. Still runs fine, not as fast as I would love...but that's always true 3 years after you buy a computer. our desktop is one of the new iMacs with the intel processors and it's awesome. I can do all my physics work on it since it runs on the Linux framework. It's also much faster than my machine at work, which is nice. You can now also get the the BootCamp for the new iMacs which allows you to put windows onto a partition (similar to what you do when you put linux and windows on one machine) from what i have heard is that it works awesomely well.

I bought a PC laptop when I went to grad school and I just about threw it out the window. It never worked right. I ended up selling it for half of what I paid for it and purchased the mac laptop. I'm telling you mac is doing really really good stuff, with software that just WORKS! I am working on a website tracking all the travels and it's going to be pretty cool....just a couple more posts to add

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Ryan-

I am going to try and get a run in this evening. We are back on the full schedule next week and will be doing the first recovery week. We didn't have time in England to run much at all, which is fine, but I'm happy that the next week is a recovery week :-) This weekend we are working some 16 hour days so probably not much running for reals until next tuesday :-( I am ready to get my legs moving though!
