Training for Chicago in Memphis summer heat has gotten me up pre-ass-crack of dawn many times to avoid the heat of the sun so we can run in 80 degree temps and by the time we are done our long run it's only 95 with high humidity instead of 105 with high humidity! Gotta love seeing college students in a cab on their way back from a night of partying when you have just gotten up to run! Running near Beale St and Main St is fun at 4 or 5am! Don't you think the best part of running so early is that you aren't awake yet and thus cannot feel the pain? :)Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09482561224007409868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14208946.post-38834130684598651022007-09-02T22:02:00.000-05:002007-09-02T22:02:00.000-05:004am? Imagine my dismay when I realized it was pouring down rain at 3am and I wasn't quite brave enough to run in the rain and the dark...so I ran, on the treadmill, for seventeen miles, at 3am. It sucked. <BR/>Way to hang in there though!Kristihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16908311126098218345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14208946.post-65328657944720554022007-09-01T07:27:00.000-05:002007-09-01T07:27:00.000-05:00Nice job getting the 5 miles done at 3am!
