You get home from work, and you are tired and I am usually frustrated with problems at work. But coming home and lacing up the shoes and getting out the door, man does that feel good (most of the time!). I don't know, I just feel that I can run the day away and kind of close it out. About the 12 hour work day-take it from me-it's a huge pat on the back to run after a long day. If you can squeeze a long run in after a grueling day at work you can certainly run a marathon.
